MODI AND TUSK TIE TO ELEVATE STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN INDIA AND POLAND

India and Poland elevate their relations to strategic ones as PM Narendra Modi and Polish Head Donald Tusk discover ways to broaden cooperation and security, defence, investment, trade and digitalization. Modi is the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Poland in 45 years which signals India’s motif in revitalizing allies with the sixth largest economy in the European Union and the Central Europe’s rising economic power. Apart from building four years action plan for the strategic partnership enlightening security cooperation, trade, technology, connectivity, counter terrorism, cybersecurity, and health, both sides decides to end up to social security agreement in order to save the professional interest serving for each other’s country and encourage mobility.

 “This year, we celebrate 70 years of diplomatic relations. On this occasion, we have decided to reshape our relation into a strategic partnership. Relations between India and Poland are based on shared values such as democracy and rule of law,” says Modi to the media after his interaction with task. “Determination and readiness to cooperate across many fields” says Tusk about elevating relation with India. Poland’s other alignments lie with China, Japan and South Korea in Asia.
